The Memorial Day program will begin at 1 p.m. at the Field of Honor. Tanner Do, a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Iraq War, will share a story about how he fled Vietnam with his mother when he was 11 before graduating from Texas A&M University and joining the U.S. Army.

The program will wrap up with a performance from men’s choir Vocal Majority.

Attendees can also walk through the Avenue of the Flags, a tribute to veterans who have died. The flags given to families to drape over loved ones caskets are flown during Memorial Day Weekend at the cemetery. Each flagpole is labeled with a veteran’s name.
